The Environmental Calculator is an innovative system created by Labelia Environment Conseil (www.labelia-conseil.com) to calculate, using the Bilan Carbone method, the quantity of carbon produced by economic activities, and its impact on the greenhouse effect responsible for global warming.
With this in mind, the Calculator gives the possibility of comparing the environmental advantages of the use of recycled paper against fresh fibre paper, based on the data of the European Brief.
In a simple and clear manner, it indicates 6 different saving parameters referred to: wood, waste, energy, water and carbon dioxide, translated into the corresponding kilometres travelled by a car.
